You Know Things Are Bad in Guatemala When...

1. You speak to your taxi driver in Spanish and he says, "No hablo ingles."

2. You are asked to talk about your female classmates weekend and instead of using the verb disfrutar (to enjoy) you use disfrutarse (to enjoy sexually) whoops.

3. The temperature dips to 70 degrees and the winter hats come out.

Interesting side note: Three countries uphold the death penalty. U.S., Cuba, aaaand Guatemala. Yay!

Thank you, Matt. I was thinking #3 sounded a little shady.

As for #2, well, John--you just have a way.

Actually, well done on the entire post. It's nearly un-commentable, it's so funny.
