Espanolish
On the flight back from Honduras today:
Captain: If you look out the window to your left, you'll see we're passing over ?????? island.
I could not understand the name of that island, but it was incredible looking. So I asked the Hondurans in the row in front of me.
Me: Do-you-know-the-name-of-that-island? (confused look on faces)
Me: "Que island?"
Honduran #1: Krakow
Honduran #2: Iceland
Hmmm.
The real answer: Roatan

Guatemala
I'm writing this from Guatemala...my first step into my new job with CrossRoads. In January 07, I will assume the role of CrossRoads Strategy Coordinator for Latin and South America. I'm pretty psyched about it. Guatemala is my first stop. This is a beautiful country! Have you ever heard of Antigua? Look it up. It is amazing and is flanked by two volcanoes, one named fire (active) and one named water. The people are amazing, passionate, loving. Gosh, they need our prayers. Pictures coming soon.
