River Crossing It was on December 25, 1776, that General George Washington and his army made their historic crossing of the Delaware River to attack the British 'Hessian mercenaries' in Trenton, New Jersey.
It just so happens that I was watching another episode of John Adams today. George Washington looks remarkably like this picture..... You should watch that mini-series. Incredible! (plus they give a shout-out to Delaware)
